How to PREPARE® for Your Lab Session

Your Lab Session is right around the corner, and this is your opportunity to take the next step beyond the classroom. While the class gave you strategies on taxes, Social Security, investments, and estate planning, the Lab is where we make those strategies personal, focusing on your unique questions, goals, and concerns.

The best thing you can bring to your Lab Session is your questions.

Many people walk in unsure where to start, and that’s perfectly okay.

The PREPARE® Data Form in your workbook is a helpful guide if you’d like to jot down goals or concerns ahead of time. Some attendees choose to bring tax returns or investment statements, but it’s not required; the session isn’t about paperwork, it’s about helping you gain clarity and direction.

Short conversations in these sessions have sparked strategies that saved people thousands of dollars in taxes or gave them confidence about their income in retirement. That’s why we’re so excited to sit down with you.

This video features Jim Masone, PREPARE® Class Instructor and Financial Strategist with West Advisory Group in Erie, PA. Jim enjoys helping people move from uncertainty to clarity, leaving the Lab Session feeling more empowered and confident than when they arrived.
